The accommodation

A small centenary house located in the most ancient area of the Saint Michael´s island (council of Northeast). Recently remodelled according to his traditional Architecture (Regional Azorean of the Rural type), she presents walls in masonry from stone (volcanic stones of the type Basalt and Ignimbrito) covered by roof in regional pottery supported by parallel schoolmistresses from wood connected by beams of "Faia" (Myrica faya Azorean sub-species).

Composed by 1 room, bathroom, quite equipped kitchen, annexe and terrace with sight for the sunrise.

Setting

Situated in the "Lomba da Fazenda" parish and cut by two streams of considerable dimensions, she presents small fields of cultivation, small forests, and verdant pastures. This one lives majority from the Agriculture and Cattle-raising, being his inhabitants, not only, simple and welcoming persons as holders of an enormous popular and cultural wealth.

It has all the basic infrastructures to the functioning of a community (ATM, mini markets, restaurants, PUB,traditional bakery, poly-athletic outside). To 5 minutes of the Town of the Northeast, council´s capital (Northeast, the most flowered of Europe). This Town offers Hospital with Emergengy Room (24h), Pharmacy, restaurants, supermarkets, Market and Rent-a-Car between others. Good and easy accesses.

Traditional Museums and Houses of Work, viewpoints (in distinction those of the Tips of the Peace and of the Dawn), waterfalls and traditional mills of water, severall official pedestrians trails, Forest Park of the Tronqueira, "Boca da Ribeira" swimming pool and "Lombo Gordo" beach.
