The accommodation

This is a beautiful and practical house set in a peaceful and private Quinta. Completely south-facing and leading out onto a terrace and lawn this house is ideally located for beach, golf and sightseeing holidays or simply reading a book in the lush garden.

Setting

Sintra is World Heritage site with plenty to do and see. We are tucked in the foothills of the mountains, only 25 mins drive from the airport and 10-15 minutes away from the beaches and most activities. This is a family home with all the privacy, charm and sunny comfort to come back to and enjoy fully.

Activities and attractions

There are plenty of activities and locations to enjoy mostly within 15- 20 mins drive from the house. In the mountains we strongly recomend visiting the Conventos dos Capuchos, the Moorish Castle, the Pena Palace, Penina and wonderful gardens of Monserrate. This may be done by organised jeep tour, by bike, or on foot.

For those who enjoy sports Golf, Tennis, Windsurf, Sailing and Horseriding are available with 15 - 20 mins drive. Not to mention of course our wonderful beaches. For those who love to surf a quick trip to Ericeira and some of the worlds most famous surf spots is but 40 mins away. Few things top a bbq in our wonderfulmeal of fresh seafood and a beer whilst overlooking the Atlantic at sunset.
