The accommodation

Casa Fuente Cubierta is a modernized three bedroom traditional Andalusian farmhouse with swimming pool, set in two acres of wooded and natural garden, located 2,5 km south of Vejer de la Frontera and within 15 min. of the wide and golden Atlantic beaches of Trafalgar, El Palmar, Zahora and Caños de Meca on the COSTA DE LA LUZ.
This rural property is built around an intimate sunny patio and comprises of:

. a spacious kitchen-diner with Sat. TV, CD-DVD player, oven, wood burner and central heating
. one double bedroom leading to the kitchen-diner
. one double bedroom with extra fold out bed, leading directly to the patio

Across the patio is a separate building with:

. one small bedroom with bunk beds
. shower-bathroom
. corridor to the swimming pool
. washing machine
. extra toilet near the pool.

The pool ( 7 x 3,5 m) has a terrace and is near a large and secluded lawn, ideal for sports.

Private parking near the house.

Most electricity is provided by solar panels and there are some restrictions as to the use of it. A windmill park is in its vicinity.

Setting

Casa Fuente Cubierta is snugly nested in the hills of rural Vejer, in stunning scenery, protected from the winds and secluded in its wooded gardens. Its location is idyllic between picturesque Vejer de la Frontera, the Natural Park of Barbate and the wide sandy beaches of the Atlantic on the Costa de la Luz all within easy reach.

The lush natural environment of the house provides shade, tranquility and privacy. It invites relaxed strolls or cycling tours. And, positioned on the main bird migration route between Africa and Europe, undisturbed bird watching (and listening) all year round is a delight while lounging at the pool or on the terrace

Cosmopolitan Vejer de la Frontera has all the shops, tapa bars and restaurants you can wish for. The setting is early mediaeval and Moorish. A bit further away are its wide and pleasant sandy family beaches called El Palmar.

Sustainable industry is being developed in the area in the form of solar- and windmill parks, the nearest windmill park is situated above the house.

A car is recommended but from Vejer fast and cheap public Interliner buses will bring you to all major destinations, avoiding troublesome parking in city centers.

Activities and attractions

The province of Cádiz is packed with culture, nature and history and our house is an excellent starting point for day trips to Cádiz, Seville, and Tarifa or further afield and Morocco. Ask for suggestions, documentation is in the house.
