House with swimming pool in the beautiful countryside of the Lisbon Coast region, just at 7Km from the beach

This is not just a beautiful house, it is a "one of a kind" home in the Sesimbra region which one discovers as if it were a treasure chest, amid an immense property of over 200 hectares of cork and pine trees, at the end of a mile long path that leaves the main road behind. A true treasure, this home is a fine example of traditional architecture of rural Portugal.

Amidst a beautiful garden filled with flowers and scents: nature is all around. The pool is right at the foot of an ancient cork tree which overlooks the pine tree valley. The beautiful summer evenings can be fully enjoyed in the room specially prepared with a dining area and a barbeque adjacent to the main house. Inside, everything has a story to tell: be it the furniture, the old stone floors, the wooden floors, or the old chimney.

Setting

The house is situated on a large property, that belongs to the same family for centurys, surrounded by a beautiful forest of cork and pine trees forests, typically Mediterranean. The south façade overlooks a lovely lawned garden surrounded by fragrant flowers where the swimming pool and solarium as well as enjoyable outdoor room. Accesses to the house through the gate leading to private road with 1.5 km.

Activities and attractions

The bay of Sesimbra is located just a 30km south of Lisbon, near the Natural Park of Arrábida hills. This fishing village is the perfect holiday destination, with many fabulous seafood restaurants.

Sesimbra is an old and typical Portuguese village where you can eat fantastic fish, stroll on the sidewalk or lounging on the sandy beach with its clean and attractive blue water. There are numerous local activities including golf, there are three magnificent courses nearby; kite surfing dolphin watching, boating, fishing expeditions, climbing, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, trekking, massage and spa, vineyard tours and wine tasting.
