A great flat close to everything! Spacious, extremely well equipped, the host is very, very helpful. I can most heartily recommend to anyone, especially when travelling with children (we had 2 babies under 1 year). We most definitely plan to return here!

San Sebastian Apartment de Paru 24/Aug/2010 (regarding a stay in July 2010)

This is a lovely property in an equally lovely place. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean, and we felt at home as soon as we walked through the doors. There has clearly been a great deal of thought as to the requirements of the tenants both in terms of the facilities within the flat and the written information supplied. The wireless broadband was invaluable as the local tourist offices have excellent websites, and it greatly facilitated the planning of our trips, and checking on the weather (which is even more changeable than the UK!!!). The large secure garage was also useful, not just for our vehicle but for storing our bikes.
Joseba was very welcoming and had a folder of up to date and useful information. We arrived on a public holiday, and everything was closed, and he took trouble to suggest where we could eat that evening. The previous tenants had found that the washing machine was not spinning effectively. By the time we arrived, not only was Joseba aware of the problem, but he had already ordered a replacement which was installed with minimum inconvenience to us. In summary we would like to recommend San Sebastian generally and this apartment in particular, and hope that we will return in the future during the Semana Grande and the international fireworks competition.

It's lucky this apartment is so big and bright as we spent a lot more time in it than expected due to the terrible weather! Everything about it was clean, modern and comfortable and we only had two small quibbles: the coffee perker wasn't working and the television had no English language channels (Spanish/Basque only). It also would have been handy to have a few board games or dvds available as we were trapped indoors so much of the time. The apartment is up a hill so be prepared for this if you're carrying luggage or groceries - but taxis are cheap and efficient, there's a garage if you've rented a car and the university area is safe and pleasant. A lovely apartment - oh and don't miss La Perla restaurant on the seafront (bus 5 or 25) the food is fabulous, the view is gorgeous, the service is delightful and the prices are astonishing value.
Jose welcomed us with warmth and folders full of useful local information. We can highly recommend his excellent apartment.

The apartment is very well situated in the center of the city and is very suitable for a group of 6-8 people. It is excellent that you can sit on the big balcony and regard the life going on in San Sebastian. We will not hesitate to go back and stay there again.

This is an apartment we very much would like to recommend. Both the hosts and the apartment are in top class. Joseba and Nerea are the most helpful, they give advice to restaurants, sights and shops and help you out with all kind of questions. The apartment is modern and has great space. Four bedrooms made well enough room to two couples, a youth and two children in our group. The kitchen and living-room is fully equipped with whatever you need for a everyday life, so for a holiday this is really in top league. And in the basement there even are a double garage. At first we couldn't really believe how great the apartment was so we figured out the catch maybe was the distance to the beach and city centre. But no, it actually is just a short easy walk to Ondaretta Beach. In less than 10 minutes you have walked the 1 km and you'll find the fantastic bay of San Sebastian. The city is just the best. The scenic beauty, the beaches, the old town, the history, its people….it is magnificent.
