SERRA RICA is an eleventh century farmhouse , situated at 800 m. above sea level in an area of great beauty, surrounded by oak woods.We have renovated the old adjoining barns and transformed them into three lovely independent accommodations.

I stayed in the Heugeda in Serra Rica at the beginning of last year and found everything perfect, Carme and Angel, the owners were warm and welcoming. We had a problem with the water which, after a chat with them, we worked out, and discovered that it was to do with their "green" policy, something which we were very much in favour of. The children loved visiting the chickens and wandering around the garden. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool but I imagine it would be lovely in the summer, hopefully we will be able to use it on our next visit.

We loved our stay at Mas Serra-rica in 2007. The weather was a bit cooler in the hills than in the valley, which meant that sleeping was better. The cottage was charming and very comfortable. Our welcome pack was very good. Vic is a lovely town.The area around was well worth a vist, with trips to Barcelona, Monserrat and up in to the hills.
