The owner´s comments

The house is located in one of the most paradisal and calm areas of the whole island and the rural park of Teno. Spectacular ravines, abrupt cliffs and elements of scientific interest made up this peculiar landscape.

5 A paradise for stressed city slickers de Helko 01/Nov/2011

Staying the first 7 nights of holiday in this beautiful house was a very good idea. The house is very good equiped and in a very good condition and the arrangement of the house is very tasteful. The house is perfectly located for exploring the Teno Mountains and it is exactly what we have searched for. Masca is not far away. Garachico, Icod, Punta de Teno, Santiago del Teide and other nice locations are reachable within ca 30 minutes. A rental car is a must.Having breakfast on the terrace in the morning - above the clouds and looking down the Barranco of Carrizal to island La Gomera - it is beautiful. Also in the night. You can see the ligths of La Gomera. An amazing outlook. No busses full of tourists. No cars, no trains, no aircrafts. Only the wind and clouds and the sun. The sunsets are like in romantic movies. Thus, in short words, we would like to come back on later vacations and we will recommend this house to others. The personel contact was very kind and uncomplicated.Cheers, Helko

5 la tinta de phil goodland 10/Apr/2010 (regarding a stay in March 2010)

This a great house in an amazing location - very quiet and clean, although quite dark inside - there are few windows - by English standards! German, the owner, is very helpful. Only disappointment was that access to the local beach at the end of the valley is controlled by the Teno Park Authorities - permission has to be granted - due to its ecological importance and delicacy - and is prohibited completely for six months of the year.....There are other beaches nearby though

5 Will never forget de usr354076 29/Jul/2009

We spent a week at Las Piedras. This has been by far the highlight of our vacation in the Canary Islands. The house has been restored with love, not just to the house itself but also to its guests. Lots of details and good taste which unfortunately we were not lucky enough to find it out in several other houses we rented in other islands through our vacation. German, the owner, was kind and professional. Location is amazing, although, granted, it takes a while to get used to the steep narrow roads, specially heading South to Santiago. But, of course, you should not expect freeways taking you to a place like this. The birds, the stars, the changing landscape, with La Gomera island right up front the yard, surfacing over the clouds... the early morning walks to the nearby cliffs...all these memories will last for us.A former guest wrote in the guest's book that las Piedras is the right place to recover from your wounds. We couldn't agree more.Jordi and ElenaBarcelona, July 09
