Bright modern house near beaches y golf courses

The accommodation

A very bright and comfortably furnished modern style townhouse with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a full bathtub, with a sofabed in the living room. The house has a private front garden with wooden garden furniture for sunbathing or meals. There is also a terrace with table and chairs facing the comunal garden area and swimming pool.
You will find it fully-equiped with washing machine, televison, dish washer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, oven and ceramic hob, iron, hoover, ironing board etc. The house has two airconditioners which also provide heating and there are fans in the living room and upstairs bedroom. There is also WIFI connection in the house. In July and August the internet connection is included in the rental. However in other months there will be an extra charge of approximately 15 Euros per week should you want to have this facility. For longer term rentals other than in July and August the utility bills may not be included. Please contact me for further details.
We have recently extended the living room area and added a skylight to make the house even brighter.

Setting

This is an ideal house to enjoy the blue flag beaches nearby and for lovers of sport such as golf, tennis or paddle.

The house is in a quiet residential area less than 2 kilometres away (about 3 minutes by car) from the beautiful blue flag beaches of Campoamor and Aguamarina on the Costa Blanca. It therefore offers you the chance to enjoy the beach atmosphere without being too close to the noisy hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants. It is also very near the large new shopping centre called Zenia Boulevard and Torrevieja is only a 10 minutes away by car.

There are 4 golf courses within 10 kilometres of the house, the nearest being Las Ramblas Golf Club which is 4 kilometres away.

In Torrevieja there are the attractions of the waterpark Aquapolis and the night market and funfair on the beach front. On the motorway towards Torrevieja there is a go cart course and other attractions for children. There is an wide range of restaurants and bars nearby offering cuisine from all over the world. You will have no problem communicating as English is spoken in most of the shops and restaurants in this área of the Spanish coast. In the house, I have made a list of popular restaurants in the area and highlighted the ones that we personally like and recommend.

For sports lovers, there is a modern tennis and padel tennis facility in the nearby area of Campoamor. There are also more tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool in the nearby town of El Pilar de la Horadada.

The house can be easily reached from the airports of Alicante (about 45 minutes away) or San Janvier /Murcia ( about 15 minutes away).

Activities and attractions

Apart from watersports, sunbathing and playing golf, the area also offers a wide variety of day trips to interesting nearby cities. Just down the coast are the picturesque fishing villages of San Javier and Cabo de Palos.

The cities of of Elche, Alicante, Cartagena, Orihuela and Murcia are all about 45 to 55 minutes drive away. These are great cities for days out and have interesting museums and places to visit as well as provide visitors with the opportunity to sample the more traditional Spanish cuisine. In Elche there is the Safari Park. Cartagena has a Roman Theatre and the attached museum. You can also take a boat trip around the harbour in Cartagena
If you like nature walks and birdwatching, just 20 minutes away is the Natural Reserve of La Mata. There are also the wetlands in the area of San Pedro de Pinatar for spotting the flamencos. That are is called "Mar Menor" or the small sea where the water is shallower and warmer than the beaches in this area. The coastal towns of San Pedro de Pinatar and San Javier are definitely worth a visit for their picturesque views of the "Mar Menor", and to taste the local fish and seafood. The typical dish in the area is called caldero which is a rice and fish dish.
