Altos de la Malena was an extremely comfortable, clean house in a fabulous position. The beds were comfortable and the linen was good. The only thing we found difficult was that the kitchen equipment was minimal, obviously catering for guests who don't cook meals for themselves and the downstairs shower was unusable, because the shower curtain didn't reach the base, so water splashed out onto the floor. The owner Loli, was extremely friendly and helpful. We spent Easter there & she cooked us the traditional dish with bread, eggs & honey. She also demanded another $50 euro than agreed, because it was easter, which was a bit naughty, but we forgave her.
