The accommodation

A pretty cottage under a centenary tree, in the private green park of an ancient deco villa of the twenties of last century.
A wonderful panorama and nice view of the lake, the island and Monte Rosa, a quiet and relaxing staying in nature, private barbeque and deckchairs. The cottage is located in Vacciago, a cute small village of the 17th century, 3km over Orta, that offers many opportunities for walks, sports, special attractives and view.
It is a wide cottage with a double sofa bed, a separate kitchen and a bathroom with a shower (an extra bed in the loft if is required).

Setting

The cottage is 20 minutes walk far from the lake, sandy beaches for swimming, with umbrellas and deckchairs, rentable boats and water ski.
The nears villages offer tennis, football fields and minigolf.
Golf Clubs in Gignese and Stresa (20-30 minuts drive from the cottage), and paragliding from the near Mottarone.

Activities and attractions

The rail station is ten minutes walk from the cottage. You can reach Novara in 40 minutes, Torino in 2 h. and Milano in 1,40 h.
The Arona or Borgomanero toll are less than 10 kms far: you can rapidly reach Milano (80 km), Torino (140 km), Genova (160 km) and Courmayeur (180km).
Lugano is 45 km, and Milano Malpensa airport is 26 km far.
In the surroundings, less than 1hour and an half drive, you can reach the Strona, Ossola, Formazza, Vigezzo Valsesia Valleys, for marvelleus walks, as well the thermal pools in Premia and Toce waterfall.
