De QUINTA DA PEDRA ALTA is situated in the middle of Portugal, at the foot of the Serra Da Estrela. The Serra is the highest, adventurous mountain range of the land, rich in fado.

It is the ideal base for summer and winter activities.

Hiking, motorcycling, kayaking, skiing, flying delta, horse riding, swimming are on the list of sports who are often practiced.

Beside you can make all kinds of cultural day trips. Coimbra, the university city, Piodao (Arganil), a village of slate are a stone's throw away from the Quinta. A day trip to Castelo Branco, Porto and Lisbon is one of the possibilities for early birds. You can swim in the Mondego or Alva river or those who prefer the sea can go visit Figeira da Foz or Aveiro.

The green estate, almost 1Ha big, contains numerous fruit trees and a vineyard. You also find a private swimming pool in this idyllic scene. Even a recreation space is at your service where you can party and barbecue.

The residence exist out of a main and a side house. Those are rented together or separately, depends on your question.
You'll find TV and Wifi in both houses.

The main house contains 5 bedrooms, 2 of them with a balcony. Each room has a typical character. Beside, the cozy living room has a fire place, a roofed in terrace, an open kitchen and 2 bathrooms. (capacity: 8 persons)

The side house has 2 bedrooms, including bathroom, a living room with kitchenette and a shady roof terrace. (capacity: 4 persons)

In short, you choose for a green, quiet and charming place with different kind of activities in the neighborhood when you lodge at the Quinta da Pedra Alta .
