New Villa located on a quiet and picturesque azorean street. It has 2 double bedrooms, 1 wc, living room with fireplace, equiped kitchen with dinning space. Nice size garden with wonderful views to the mountain and forest park.
Beautiful lagoons are just on our door step. The beach, natural swiming pools (mosteiros Village)and thermal waters on the sea of Ferraria (Ginetes Village) are only just 10 minutes drive (all free entrance). Be adventurous and discover one of the most romantic and paradisiac places you have ever been!.

We enjoyed the house,good location.I wish I have a cottage like it in Canada.
We had early concerts of farm animals next door but that is to be expected in a village.

Our cottage lived up to it's description and the owner and her property managers (her parents) are very accomodating. Like many rural locations on San Miguel it can be a challenge to drive in and out of Sete Cidades; depending on the time of year; due to frequent cloud cover and fog at the upper rim of the crater and the negotiating of the narrow winding roads. Travellers renting this cottage in the cooler months should also insure that wood is supplied for the fireplace and portable heaters (central heating is not that common) are available to eliminate the damp and coolness of the nights, and although Sete Cidades is a lovely secluded location travellers should also be aware that most Azoreans have a small farm yard in their backyards (roosters at dawn daily). All that said, Sete Cidade and the rest of the Azores is an enchanted, magical destination.

The place was just what it sounds like. A nice beautiful house in a very peaceful little village. We had farm animals next door and every morning you could here the local farmer with his horse going down the street. Wonderful! The scenery is absolutely magnificient. We visited all the major lakes on the island and Sete Cidades has the most impressive location. The house itself is in great condition, we had some trouble with the gas for the warm water running out but it was nothing major. All the people in the village greeted us and although we didn't have a common language everyone was friendly and nice. And the place was only 30km from Ponta Delgada. Only 24e and 30min in a taxi, less than an hour in a bus (roughly 3e/person). We would come back anyday! Thanks for everything!
