The accommodation

The apartment is located inside the residential complex "Kephahelion" in the lovely small village of Sant'Ambrogio, near Cefalù (5 km.) and enjoys a lovely view over the sea and the deep green of the vegetation. Completely renovated and refurnished, the holiday home can comfortably accommodate five adults, with the possibility of adding a cot. A bright central room welcomes guests upon arrival with its harmonious lines and colours recalling the surrounding natural environment. In addition to dinner table and chairs there are two large sofas convertible in comfortable beds and a 32’’ LCD TV and satellite receiver. A double glass door opens onto the balcony, and its incredible view: the stone seat surrounding it, made comfortable by numerous pillows, is an ideal place to enjoy the wonderful sunsets and a second table allows guests to enjoy their meals in the open. The delicate hues of the bedroom invite guests to relax in a comfortable atmosphere, elegantly refined and also equipped with LCD TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer, induction hob, electric oven, etc. The bathroom is spacious and stylish and offers every comfort. The holiday home is also fully air conditioned and has a wall safe.

The residential complex, surrounded by a beautifully-tended garden, overlooks the Thyrrenean sea and offers a magnificent view of the beautiful coastal line near Cefalù. In clear days, from the balcony of your flat, you will be able to see up to the Aeolian Islands. A private walkway (stairs) leads to the beach underneath, partly free, partly equipped with umbrellas and deck-chairs. The beach is pebbly and the water clear, fresh and clean. But if you don't feel like going to the beach, a shared open-air jacuzzi overlooking the bay is available for guests to enjoy pleasant relaxing moments and the Sicilian sunshine.

Setting

Your holiday home is just a few hundred meters away from Sant’Ambrogio, a truly delightful and picturesque village. Don’t miss to stroll around its crooked little streets and to enjoy the fantastic vistas of the bay. The belvedere, facing west towards Cefalù, offers extraordinary sunsets; the tiny streets and stairs present unusual and picturesque views of the sea.

The surrounding area is also very beautiful, especially the district of Guarneri, easily reached going up a trail through olive and citrus trees.
Here you can immerse yourself in tranquillity, in the beauty of the landscape, and the variety of vegetation. There is also a small church, built about 100 years ago, where the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is celebrated on September 8th.

Activities and attractions

Renown around the world for the magnificent Norman Cathedral and its lively tourism, Cefalù is there to be lived and enjoyed. The favourable position, the palaces of the ancient nobility flanking the main street (Corso Ruggero), the picturesque promenade, the streets teeming with tourist and small boutiques, make this a pleasant passeggiata in every season and at every hour of the day.

A few kilometres outside Cefalù is one of the most beautiful protected areas in Italy, the Parco delle Madonie. Its 4,000 hectares are populated with rare species of plants and animals, and house to several medieval villages perched on the slopes of the Madonie. Castelbuono, Geraci Siculo, Pollina, Gangi, Polizzi Generosa and the two Petralie are the gems of this natural scenery of incomparable beauty. - See more.
