The accommodation

Studio flat rent in Torvajanica, a small town 30 km away from Rome. Fully furnished, the studio apartment is equipped with kitchen, washing machine, air-conditioning, independent heating and private parking. Perfect for 2 people, it can also accommodate a child in a chair bed.

Dishes, pots, frying pans, as well as bed linen and pillows are available to guests.

Setting

The beach is just 150 ft away: you can spend your relaxing holidays enjoining the sea on the beach or diving (at the Marine Protected Area "Secche di Tor Paterno" or exploring the Banffshire, an English merchant ship sunk in 1917); lots of services are available on walking distance such as bus stop to any direction, commercial stores and the post office.

Alternatively you can enjoy the Zoomarine water park (5 minutes) or "Cinecittà world" (10 minutes), a new theme park that is going to open in spring 2014. If you prefer the (tax free) shopping, you can visit the "Castel Romano" designer outlet, where you can find your favourite designer brands at up to 70% off, all year round.

Torvajanica was a important place for the ancient romans: the territory lies where the ancient "Lavinium" (an important city of ancient Latium) was built, and where the legendary Trojan hero Aeneas arrived. You can visit the local archaeological museum and sites (Pratica di Mare) or arrive to Anzio (30 minutes) where visit the imperial villa of Nero and eat fresh sea fish. Last, but not least... Rome, with all its history, art and monuments is at about only 30 minutes by car.
