The accommodation

This beautiful apartment is set in mature landscaped gardens with five swimming pools, one of which is right by the apartment, so you can watch from the terrace if you do not fancy a swim yourself.

This apartment is a home from home and you will find a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, juicer etc there is also English satellite TV, a CD player and even a few books!

It has fans for the summer and heating for the winter including a fantastic log burning fireplace.

Setting

It is north of Fuengirola town on the Camino de Viejo Coin adjacent to the Hotel Tamisa Golf and Mijas International Golf, but you will need a car.

The setting is ideal for both golfers and holiday makers seeking a relaxing break and is only 3.5 kms from Fuengirola town centre and the sea, or for a quieter experience, try the gorgeous beach at La Cala, just a 15 minute drive away.

If you fancy a round of golf, Mijas Golf International is one of the most popular golf complexes in Spain with two 18 hole courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, designed by Robert Trent Jones. Though you are spoiled for choice here as there are around 70 other courses within the Mijas area. You might need several visits to play them all.

Activities and attractions

The gardens offer a green oasis with mountain views, where you can simply relax by the pools, but if you can tear yourself away then there is plenty to do. The apartment is only five minutes drive from a large Eroski shopping centre for basic and not so basic essentials and you will also find a cinema showing the latest movies in both Spanish and English. If you want a designer shopping experience then drive down the coast road, towards Marbella, to La Canada shopping centre - if you fancy a bargain head for the July sales!

There are several restaurants, besides La Tamisa, within five minutes of the apartment including La Morena, Hoya 19 and The Phoenix English pub. There is also a well kept secret, a bar just two minutes walk away in the picnic area across the road, which is great for those evenings when you do not want to dress up, but just fancy a quiet drink and a snack. Or if you want to make a night of it then you are spoiled for choice in either Fuengirola or La Cala.

You will never be stuck for something to do here - you could visit the Aquatic Park, the Selwo Adventure Park, Sealife, Tivoli World or go karting or pony trekking. Even pop into the local Fuengirola Theatre for more high brow culture.

Day trips to Ronda, Tarifa, Gibraltar and Malaga are recommended!

On confirmation of booking you will be required to sign a rental agreement and pay a 50% deposit of the total rental. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival together with a deposit cheque against breakages of either €200 or 20% of the total rental, whichever is the greater amount.
