Nice apartment with sea views

Apartment is 'tired'. Bathroom unacceptable - broken shower which we had to tie up with string and a bidet with broken taps which had not worked for some considerable time. Furniture on balcony - varnish came off if you wiped it and balcony itself needed re-painting. Door to apartment stuck on opening and closing and mat at door was 'grotty'. We had checked in advance if there was a bidet in the bathroom and had confirmation that there was so this was misrepresentation. On arrival we agreed to take the apartment as we were tired after travelling and did not know where we could find alternative accommodation. Positive comment - kitchen well equipped.

We enjoyed this comfortable flat which was spacious for a couple in their 60s. We had breakfast in the morning and a glass or two of wine in the evening on its balcony overlooking the sea. The nearby small supermarket and several restaurants by the shore made it very convenient. We found it a useful touring base. My husband swam from the beach and I enjoyed the walk down the cliff from the El Time viewpoint to Puerto, meeting goats on the way! Maria was most pleasant and even went far beyond the call of duty by helping us out with a flat battery on our hire car. She rang the non- English speaking company for us and then contacted her brother who kindly started the car with jump leads when they said it would take until the evening to fix. We recommend this accommodation.
