5-room semi-detached house 115 m2 on 2 levels, on the ground floor, fully renovated in 2004: large living/dining room with 1 double sofa bed, dining corner and TV. Kitchen (4 hotplates, oven, micro wave, freezer) with dining table. Upper floor: 1 double bedroom with 1 bed. 1 room with 2 beds. 1 room with 2 beds. 2 showers/bidet/WC. Porch. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Very nice panoramic view of the countryside. Facilities: washing machine, cot for up to 2 year olds. Please note: only small pets accepted. Near the kitchen, small room with chimney and seating corner. This room was formally used by the farmers to eat in and socialize.
This farmhouse, recently renovated, is the oldest part of the estate. Some hunting frescos in the dining/living room prove its origin as an hunting hut although it has been a farmer house and a stable too. The date 1850 is probably when the house was converted from hunting lodge to farmhouse. There are also 2 apartments, one for the caretaker and one, seldom used, for the owners. Very old large working farm "Podere Valle di Sotto", renovated in 2004. 2 km from the centre of Volterra, 30 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet position on top of a hill, in the countryside. Private: garden, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 120 - 200 cm, 15.05.-15.10.) with built-in steps. Garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: with TV, central heating, washing machine. Room cleaning on request (extra). Motor access (1 km via unmade road). Parking by the house. Shop 2 km, restaurant 2 km, bus stop 2 km, railway station 10 km, sandy beach 40 km.
