The accommodation

Las Hoyuelas has two semi-detached houses with three floors each, a 300 m2 patio and all the necessary equipment to spend a pleasant time in our facilities.
There are 10 double rooms, distributed between the two houses. 5 of the 10 rooms have a bathroom, having a different price from the rooms that do not have a bathroom. In the houses all kinds of services are made available to you: routes, ping-pong table, table football, board games, darts...

Kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, kitchenware and toaster.

Setting

The accommodation is located in Villaseca de Uceda, a town of about 50 inhabitants, located in the high countryside of the province of Guadalajara, about 16 km from Somosierra. It is a very quiet enclave, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the amenities offered by the town, just 65 km from Madrid and 30 km from Guadalajara.
Activities and attractions

The town has: a playground, a basketball and indoor soccer court, a 5-a-side soccer field, picnic areas...
To the north of the town there is a peculiar landscape known as the ravines. Three streams have shaped these places through their erosive action. We find shrub vegetation (broom and rockrose), scrubland (rosemary, thyme and cantueso).
During the Spanish Civil War, the air raid shelter was built on the outskirts of the town to provide shelter to the inhabitants and troops in the area.
Surrounding the town, to the south and east, there is a landscape of scrubland (oaks, gall oaks, hawthorn, juniper, rockrose and holm oak) called La Dehesa. Everything makes up a beautiful place crossed by the Torote river/stream, whose source is in this same place, a little further north, in one of the lagoons that we can find while walking.

Ruins of the old hermitage in honor of Santo Tomé, halfway up the hill, in the middle of a wheat field, the remains of the foundation of this hermitage can be seen.
