The owner´s comments
The Casona La Faya is situated on the leafy slopes of the River Sella Valley, as it passes through Cangas de Onis, on 2500 m2 of land, overlooking the Picos de Europa.
It is a large palace style house with two floors, built in the traditional architecture of Asturias with its central structure and two side towers, balconies, a corridor and a viewing gallery, set in a landscape of natural beauty.
It is rented as a whole unit and sleeps up to 10 people. There are 300 m2 of living space, which are distributed into five double rooms, three complete bathrooms with baths, one of them with hydrotherapy in the main room, a WC, a 60 m2 lounge with a stone fireplace, library, games room and a fully equipped luxury kitchen
It is all located on a closed piece of land with stone walls and a carefully looked after garden with several fruit trees... and in the surrounding area there are a wide selection of possibilities, suiting all tastes, both with nature and culture: Covadonga, the Enol and Ercina Lakes, the Route of the Cares, Bulnes, Cangas de Onís, River Sella… and only 20 km from the beaches of the Cantabrian coastline, which will enable you to combine excursions and the excitement of the high mountains with the traditions of the sea and the beaches of Llanes and Ribadesella, as well as enjoy the haute cuisine of the area with some of the best restaurants in the country such as Casa Marcial or El Corral del Indiano, both well known and which, through their own merit, have obtained the Michelin Star Award.
