El Albercón is a country house located in Adrados, a quiet town in the Segovia province. El Albercón has 4 bedrooms (9 beds in total), 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, living and dining room with fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen, boiler room, laundry room, wide garden with porch and a swimming pool.
The dining table works also as a pool table.- Setting
Golf court in Cuellar (15 minutes by car). River Duratón canyon is 20 minutes away; canoes can be rent at San Miguel de Bernuy. There are many field paths for bike rides. Close-by tours can be taken to Romanesque routes as well as visits to castles and Ribera del Duero wineries (Peñafiel). La Pinilla ski resort is 30 minutes by car. There is a big supermarket (Mercadona) in Cuellar (15 km).

(regarding a stay in August 2010)
We rented the house for 2 adults and 2 children. The house offers large living space for 4 due to the lower level without any separating walls: A spacious and well equipped kitchen with integrated table and bar seats, two sofas and a billiard table. Bedrooms upstairs are comfortable and the 2 bathrooms are well equipped and contemporary. The stone floor on the lower level and the bathrooms is ideal for cleaning.
Outside the garden and pool are large and the view is great.
The outside table could perhaps be a bit more comfortable and certainly for more than 5 or 6, it will be small. But then the great view and the daily sunset makes up for that.
The house is great to visit the region. We stayed for 2 weeks and visited a.o. Penafiel with its castle and plaza mayor, the incredible castle of Coca, the castle and plaza mayor of Turégano, Madruelo, the red cities (Madriguere), Ségovia, La Granja, Valladolid. We walked in the beautiful canyon of the Rio Duraton and climbed the Pico Buitrera.
