The owner´s comments
House located in a rural area, with ample parking completely closed to the Sierra leather. At 1800 m from the Golf Cuesta de Llanes. Very close to the many beaches that exist in the council. Private pool with shed and garden.
It has 5 double rooms, all with terrace, designer bathrooms and marble, one with jacuzzi tub round. Spacious terraces with solarium with fantastic views to the leather.
A 5 km from Llanes. Barbecue, lounge with stone fireplace, library, staircase with marble breaks.

The villa is attached to what is now a closed Seat garage within the gated compound so looks a little unused and is immediately next to the main road through the village which is also the main road from Santander to Oviedo so it can be quite noisy and difficult to cross or join when traffic is heavy.
The villa is fascintaing with a marble spiral staircase at its heart and two luxurious bathrooms one with a spa. There is a swimming pool hidden in the garden at the back, (behind the chickens!) and the view from the balcony towards the mountains is stunning. The narrow gauge railway runs nearby but trains are rather infrequent.The only disppointment was to find that the advertised internet connection did not exist.
The standard of the accomodation is high and quite grand, the kitchen is excellent with all kinds of cooking / prepartion facilities. The owners Charo and Miguel are very helpful and friendly. It has obviously been used as a family home until recently.
It is possible to walk to the nearest beach in about half an hour in the village of Andrin and by car there are some beautiful beaches quite close by. The town of Llanes is about 10 minutes drive away and had most of what we needed in shops and restaurants. There are plenty of Sidrerias (cider pubs) in the area and we learned to pour our cider from a great height into the glass without it going all over the floor.
Altogether an excellent holiday and a villa which grows on you the longer you stay in it.
