Discover each season in the Spanish Pyrenees in Valle de Tena!. Enjoy the comfort of renting an apartment in Escarrilla village within only a few kilometers of two important Ski Stations Formigal and Panticosa.

Valle de Tena offers you great variety of activities: skiing, treking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, etc. You can also relax in the recently restored XIX century Spa in Baños de Panticosa.

The apartment is located in a typical Pyrenees house. It is orientated to the South with incredible views towards the mountains (Sierra de la Partacua) where Panticosa Ski Station is located.


The Valle de Tena along with El Serrablo make up the Alto Gállego district. Known as the "Cradle of Aragón", where Romans, Jacans, Celts and Basques lived and travelled to and from France via the Portalet pass through which Lourdes can be reached.

From Biescas with its Pyrenean architectural style one reaches the Valle de Tena along the banks of Gallego river. Further along appear the majestic Tendeñera and Telera massifs, before reaching Bubal, where in its reservoir one can sail and wind-surf among other nautic activities.

In Panticosa as well as skiing one can relax in the thermal waters of the recently restored 19th century spa complex where five springs provide nitrogen, oligometallic and sulphur-rich waters making it one the leading European Spas. Its waters are highly recommended for the treatment of a variety of conditions including liver, kidney, digestive, respiratory disorders and rheumatic conditions. In winter its fields and paths become a telemark/nordic skiing circuit.

Many mountain lakes (Ibones) are located within the valley amongst which the Lagos Azules stand out.

The valley is a natural habitat of the Golden Eagle, Lammergeier, Griffon Vulture, Marmot and the Brown Bear.

The town of Escarrilla is located in the province of Huesca, in the heart of the Valle de Tena and in the most central part of the Pyrenees .

The high street of Escarrilla is the A-136 road from Biescas to El Portalet (Francia).

France is located only a few km away and the most direct access is via the El Portalet mountain pass (A-136).

The Valle de Tena in the centre of the Aragon Pyrenees is an ideal location for skiing since it is located close to both Formigal and Panticosa ski stations. There are also numerous Nordic skiing circuits in the area including the Panticosa Spa circuit.
