There is a great mini-market shop with fresh fruit&vegies, bakery and a great coffee. It is literally 200 metres.

The village of Carvoeiro is about 10/15 minutes walk, has a choice of restaurants, bars and shops, and has two beautiful beaches, Praia do Carvoeiro and Praia do Paraíso also within walking distance.

Tucked between high cliffs that rise steeply from the town square and the beach, Carvoeiro has a lively friendly atmosphere with small shops, street cafes, a good choice of restaurants, pubs and bars with good at dawn. Beaches surrounded by cliffs and sandy bays can be found either side of town, as well as golf, tennis and horse riding. Carvoeiro is a wonderful holiday destination with beautiful beaches, rocky coves and average of 300 sunny days per year. Take the opportunity to take a boat trip along the coast.

The Carvoeiro beach is located in a protected sand cove and perfect for relaxing in the sun and swimming in the sea. There are numerous beaches to choose from, including Benagil, Marinha and Carvalho.

The nightlife in Carvoeiro can be as quiet or as lively as you wish. There is a good selection of music bars, discos and pubs to choose from in Carvoeiro. For a wider choice of nightly venues visit Portimao which boasts numerous nightclubs, bars with vibrant music and casinos.

Outdoor sports enthusiasts will not be disappointed by the variety of sports activities available in Carvoeiro. Try your hand at tennis, horse riding, golf or at one of three golf courses. The four main beaches have many water activities available including surfing, jet-skiing, water skiing and diving.
