2 Apartments with 3 bedrooms 2.5 km from the beach

The interior of the apartment was very confertable, clean and beautifullt decorated. We also had access to the outdoor pool which was clean, and thoroughly enjoyed by our three children. On the negative side however we had great difficulty gaining access to the appartment when we arrived at the destination as the telephone contact number we were given simply told us she did not speak english and put the phone down. I tried numerous times afterwards but the phone was never answered again. As a result we had to find our way to the office to pick up the key. When we got there the girl at the desk was in no hurry to help us and kept us at her desk for over 15 min while she spoke on the phone and smoked cigarettes. We could have done without this having spent the past 12 hours travelling from Ireland and having the three children and granny waiting outside the accomadation in the heat. Having made all booking arrangements through English and being aware of our arrival date it was extremly dissapointing to have recieved a welcome such as this. I definatlly expected some small effort to be made. In relation to the kitchen, it was beautifully decorated and on the surface appeared well kitted out, however many basic items were missing ; eg only one shelf in the oven so no way to cook two Pizza at a time, no kettle so all water for tea or instant coffee was boiled on the stove. It was also extremly noisy at night as the main bedrooms was next to the main road. Our neighbours were also extremly noisy until about 4 in the morning but this probablly couldnt be helped. We purchased some earplugs - the first time i have ever had to do this (Im 42) from the very local chemist and this helped a lot. We also had a small problem with not being able to get hot water on the first day however the company were extremly efficient in sorting this out once informed. Overall however really good value for money and i would recommend this apartment. Would really help if you could speak some spanish. You will also need a car if you stay here.
