This holiday accommodation, with its lovely sea views and nearby Burriana beach,is a privately owned apartment sleeps 4 (plus a fold-up bed suitable for a child).

It is only 500 metres from the middle of Nerja, the Balcon de Europa, where there are a multitude of bars & restaurants. The secluded Carabeo beach is only 150 metres away.

The south-facing balcony faces the sun until mid-afternoon. The kitchen was completely refurbished in 2005 (new fridge-freezer, microwave, electric oven and cooker etc). The bathroom was then re-furbished completely in 2006 with a new shower and bathroom furniture. There is also a washing machine, iron, hair-drier etc.

The sun-roof, with stunning views of the sea and mountains, has been newly furnished with sunbeds, chairs and tables for use by our visitors.

We first stayed in this block several years ago, but it was only in Jan 2011 that we could book this apartment. It was worth the wait. The surrounding area has been spruced up considerably over the last 4 years and the road into Nerja is now delightfully paved and landscaped. The apartment is nicely furnished and comfortable, convenient for both town and beaches. Can recommend highly. We wanted to stay for 6 weeks in 2012 but family illness prevented it.

We loved Nerja and the apartment was situated very well near to the old town and to the beaches.

We used the lovely roof terrace, the balcony, the pool and the beaches. We found several good restaurants nearby, like the one with Indian food on the same road and Nerja the Nerja (the name of the restaurant) at the Burriana Beach.

There were some noise from the street because of some major roadworks outside the apartment at that time, but it was not a big problem for us.

The owners gave us very good information about everything and they handle all things about our stay perfect.

We recommend this apartment for others.

We recommend this apartment only for a couple with or without children and for people who eat outside the apartment. For four adults can be difficult. The master bedroom has two single beds. Everyone has to sleep in his bed because the beds will move if somebody stays in the middle. The second bedroom has the L-shaped beds as they do not fit in the same position.
The toilet has no windows and it keeps a small odor.
We used to cook at home and we didn't have a good experience. The American kitchen is very narrow. You have to bend to the utensils in a very small space. There are tools in poor condition. The owners had provided two pans and the Teflon was falling off. The rod began to rust. The tupperware were too old. In general, cooking utensils were old and smelled rare.
WARNING! The same street where the apartment is currently "under construction". Troublesome work and will probably take long time because they take a long time on every job and they use to scream. Windows will not be able to be open.

Recomendamos este apartamento sólo para una pareja con o sin hijos y para personas que comen fuera del apartamento. Para cuatro personas adultas puede resultar complicado. La habitación de matrimonio tiene dos camas individuales. Cada uno tiene que dormir en su cama ya que se separan si la persona está en el medio. La segunda habitación tiene las camas en forma de L, ya que no caben en la misma posición.
El tocador no tiene ventana y hay un pequeño olor constantemente.
Nosotros hubimos cocinado en casa y no tuvimos una buena experiencia. La cocina americana es muy estrecha. Hay que agacharse para coger los utensilios en un espacio muy reducido. Hay utensilios en mal estado. Los propietarios han facilitado dos sartenes y el teflón se estaba desprendiendo. La varilla empezaba a oxidarse. Los tupperware estaban también viejos. En general, los utensilios para cocinar olían de manera rara y se apreciaba que los utensilios
estabán viejos.
¡CUIDADO! En la calle del apartamento han empezado unas obras muy molestas a finales de octubre y probablemente van a tardar bastante tiempo, ya que los obreros se toman mucho tiempo en cada trabajo y vociferan mucho.

Owner's reply

We welcome all comments - and we have always tried to react favourably to any suggestions
and the very few criticisms we have received over 16 years. These comments are upsetting
as they come from someone who has paid only half the agreed fee and who stayed on for an
extra night without permission.
The beds in the second bedroom: these are easily movable: many visitors change the shape
according to need.
We pride ourselves in keeping all equipment up-to-date (for example these travellers were
the first to use brand new mattresses).
Kitchen and equipment: Other recent visitors made no adverse comments about the kitchen
and/or its facilities. On our next visit, we will double check the status of kitchen
equipment and, if necessary, replace.
The road works outside: (to improve electricity, water and sewerage facilities) are due
to end in March 2010. The street will be surfaced decoratively and pedestrianised, thus
greatly enhancing its appearance.

Damos la bienvenida a todos los comentarios - y siempre hemos tratado de reaccionar
favorablemente a las sugerencias y las críticas muy pocos hemos recibido más de 16 años.
Estos comentarios se molesta ya que provienen de alguien que ha pagado sólo la mitad de
los honorarios acordados y que se quedaron en una noche extra sin permiso.
Las camas en el segundo dormitorio: estos son fácilmente transferibles: muchos visitantes
de cambiar la forma según la necesidad.
Nos enorgullecemos en mantener todos los equipos hasta al día (por ejemplo, estos viajeros
fueron los primeros en utilizar la marca colchones nuevos).
El equipo de cocina: Otros visitantes recientes, no hizo comentarios negativos acerca de
la cocina y / o sus instalaciones. En nuestra próxima visita, hacemos doble comprobará el
estado de equipo de cocina y, si es necesario, reemplace.
Las obras en la calle fuera: (para mejorar la electricidad, agua y alcantarillado) se debe
concluir en marzo de 2010. La calle será peatonal y la superficie decorativa, lo que
mejora considerablemente su aspecto.

This is one of the best locations in Nerja, overlooking the beautiful beach of Burriana. The appartment is fully equiped and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended. Thanks a lot for a wonderfull holiday, we will surely come back and visit Nerja again.
