A new sailing port has been built.
This part of the island still remains as the only authentical part of Tenerife left. By pedestrian dyke a walk along the coast to banana plantations, or to the village 300 meters where you will find shops, supermarkets, bus stop and restaurants

Located 60km from the capital Santa Cruz, this seafaring and stately village was the first port of the island and was buried by the volcanic eruption in the year 1706 called Garachico.
