The accommodation

La Borde Haute is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful south West Of France . Nestled at the foot of the village Verteuil d'Agenais with its recently restored Chateau Des Vallons, the property is tastefully furnished providing guests with 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and two bathrooms. Fully Fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge, satellite tv and wifi. The house is air conditioned and also has a small balcony for your early morning coffee! Set in its own secure 4000m2 park , with lots of mature pine and oak trees providing very welcome shade on those hot summer days .The property also boasts its very own practice golf range of 20000 m2, with a green and bunker. Perfect for all ages and skill levels. All golfing equipment is provided for your enjoyment. After your morning golfing why not relax at your own private pool, with plenty of sun shades, games, its own summer kitchen, BBQ and w/c. Bicycles are also available if you fancy exploring the countryside by bike.

Setting

The gite is located in an idyllic country setting in the Garonne valley surrounded by rolling hills and farmland with beautiful and relaxing views from the pool and your private golf range. It is within easy reach of several major international airports; Bergerac (the closest) 50km away, Bordeaux, 120km away, and Toulouse.around 170km. The best way to get from the airports to the gite (and to make the most of your holiday) is to hire a car from the airport, but we can arrange a pick up and drop off if necessary. Cheap flights can be had from all these airports at certain times of year. The nearest train station is in Tonneins, about 15km away and has connections to all parts of the country. We can arrange a pick up from the station if required. On arrival, the gates to the property will be open and we will meet you to hand over the keys and show you around.

The gite is perfectly positioned for both relaxing and exploring. For golfers, the Golf De Barthe golf club is just 10 minutes away (if you need a break from your onsite private range). For those looking to explore the surrounding region, wine lovers can head to the nearby vineyards of Buzet, Bergerac and Bordeaux for great days out on wine tasting tours. For those with an interest in history, we have many local Chateaux and Bastide towns such as Eymet and Monflanquin. Great for grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat while watching the world go by. For the more sporty or adventurous there's lots going on along the river from fishing to Kayaking and for nature at its finest, a trip to Cave Lastournelle.is a must.
