The accommodation

Casa hastwo clearly separated areas: house and stable.
It has two bedrooms. The main one facing the river, has a double bed, desk and wardrobe. The other one, twin beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe and small work table. Fully equipped bathroom with shower, living-room with two large couches (two and three seats), chimney and coffee table.
Furnished balcony and woodshed with a fantastic overview of the village and the river. Fully equipped kitchen, with dishes, tableware and everything needed to run: microwave oven, juicer, oven and cleaning stuff. Roofed front porch with table and seats. Towards the river there is a summer luncheon place with table and seats, shaded in summer time.
The ground floor, former stable is accessed from the front porch: a very large room with two bed couches, nightstands, coffee table, desk, full bathroom including bathtub. This room can be used as a dormitory or as a multiple purposes room since it has a plasma TV set to watch films, a ping-pong table, a collection of books for children and adults and table games. An iron wood stove is available to warm the place.
The space distribution allows for a comfortable cohabitation of 6 people in total, enjoying also individual independence, if desired.

Setting

Casa is a rural house in the very heart of the Ribeira Sacra, (Sacred Riverbank, name given to the riverbank of the Miño River due to the presence of many chapels, small churches and shrines), a peaceful place to enjoy pure nature.
CM is an old stone and wood farmhouse built some 350 years ago and refurnished in 2000 respecting its original structure but open to landscape through wide picture windows. Perched like a light-house, it offers impressive views of the Miño River and its canyon while surrounded by vineyards and a native forest of oak, chestnut, cork trees and pines, among others.
It is the perfect place to relax, observe nature that generously deploys itself, practice trekking, canoeing, and swimming in summer. It is very appropriate for family holidays, meeting friends or spending a few days or rest or learning.
CM is not a transit point. A car is needed to reach this place where to fall in love with the lanscape. It is in the small town of Cabo de Vila, parish of Atan, town council of Ferreira de Pantón, Lugo Province, Galicia, Spain.

When hiring Casa you are renting a fully operational holiday house that provides two sets of bedclothes per bed, two complete sets of towels, kitchen cloth, tablecloth, more than enough dishes, spices, cleaning stuff, washing machine, tumble dryer as well as a picnic basket, essential for some strolls. Our purpose is to provide solutions to allow for a full enjoyment, to make our guests fall in love with the place and make them wish to repeat the visit.
