The accommodation

Situated between a romantic courtyard and Mediterranean gardens the newly renovated apartment "Il Poggiolo" features a well equipped kitchen and wonderful bedroom with a beautiful, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower just across the hall. The living room offers a daybed and an adjacent, large balcony with views down the valley all the way to the Mediterranean sea. The garden area invites with chaise lounges, dining table and sumptuous outdoor shower.

Setting

Just 150 meters from Villa Barca , at the edge of the small hamlet Case Soprane, you will find the village house "Ca' dei Merli". Once home to a family of farmers, the shoemaker and seamstress of the village, it now hosts the home restaurant "Ü Baregu" as well as two comfortable vacation rentals.

Activities and attractions

Just 20 minutes by car are the sandy beaches of Alassio, one of Italy's most mundane seaside resorts. The Lerrone Valley offers all kinds of outdoor activities, from hiking and mountain biking to laid-back picknick hours. For the more leisurely tourist the Ligurian coast shows itself as a true treasure box: cozy little seaside towns, steep mountain passes that lead to old, medieval villages and the famous Via Aurelia that brings you straight to the chic Corniche of France's Cote d 'Azur, where you can explore along the road famous places like Menton, Monte Carlo and Nice.
