Canela beach(Ayamonte, Huelva)

Fantastic safe beach, by: pwhel, 19/May/2011
I love this beach, the tide goes so far out, it is amazing

Velilla-el Tesorillo beach(Almuñécar, Granada)

Great beach, by: a traveller, 05/Aug/2010
The beach is compact, therefore busy in August, but that just means you have to pick your spot. The rest of the year it's hardly 'crowded' .Two great beach bars literally on the sand and great snorkelling around the rocks too. Perfect.

El Castillo beach(San Fernando, Cádiz)

beautiful beach, by: a traveller, 24/Jul/2010

This is an idyllic location in which you can enjoy the tranquility of this typically Spanish coastal resort. A great place to chill!

Agua Amarga beach(Níjar, Almería)

Lovely beach but always seems to be windy, by: garrucha-villas, 29/Dec/2007
A beautiful beach in a lovely setting with superb restaurants serving the best paella in the area, the big downside is the wind. Every time I've been to Agua Amarga the wind is blowing along the beach... [See more]

Los Muertos beach(Carboneras, Almería)

Very Good, by: a traveller, 12/Oct/2007
If you don't mind a 1km hike, this is superb. Very eerie and atmospheric too. Be aware that like a lot of beaches in this region, it is a nudist area. If you are offended by this then best stay away.
