We loved VP de Añcora, and staying at this little apartment was a great way to enjoy the beach and village as well as explore northern Portugal. The neighbourhood is quiet. The kitchen is well supplied. The apartment and parking garage are very secure. The only complaint is there is no Internet which is inconvenient for us.

I suspect that this was the first time that the house has been rented. The owners were charming and very helpful. We asked for a kettle which was provided within an hour. There were no basics like salt and pepper and kitchen paper towels etc, but there are now for the next rental. The house was large and roomy. The furniture and fittings had a feel of the 80's. Everything was clean and tidy, and the property was well equipped. It could do with a BBQ and BBQ area as it was on the first floor of the house. The terrace was large but I felt that it may not have been suitable to the owner for it to be used for BBQs. Would be happy to return.
