La Fassina is a traditional 18th century catalan country house in Altafulla, one of the prettiest towns on the Costa Dorada. It is located 1 km. from the old medieval part of town, and 200 m. from the Mediterranean sea. It was a farm house on a rural estate, which presently consists of 5.500 m2.
La Fassina has been restored on several occasions, while always preserving the original façades. The rooms inside, in colonial style, are spacious and comfortable. The furnishings are a pleasing combination of modern designer furniture and the original furniture of the period, which has been carefully restored by the owners. The property is divided into two wholly independent homes: the original house where the owners live, and the guest house, which occupies part of the ground floor and all of the upper floors.
