Can Baldiret is an ancient house, situated in the magnificent scenery of the Cap de Creus Nature Reserve, on the northern coastline of the Costa Brava. It is located in a very small mountain shelf, sheltered from the sea, although very close to the beach, and overlooking the Sant Pere de Rodes Monastery, together with another 30 houses.
The building has two floors , and on the ground floor there is a wine cellar which has a Romanesque arch dating back to between the 11th and 12th century, with a stone ceiling and divided up into three rooms. The entrance is used as a quiet reading area, another is a large billiards room, next to this, and another one with a home cinema and music. All this, together with a small interior patio. The main floor has been totally reformed, strictly in keeping with its original style, with wooden beams and handmade terracotta tiles. This is the ideal house for a well earned rest and the perfect place for setting off on a wide variety of excursions.
