Abuela Reme is an ancient Spanish country style house which has recently been renovated in a way that retains the charming authenticity of the original stone and wood materials, whilst adding modern domestic comforts and luxuries.
The house is located in El Fresno, a tiny traditional village in the Valle Amblés, nestled against the picturesque banks of the river Adaja and with a 15th century church at its unspoilt heart. The rural population of 500 people continues to live mainly from cattle and agriculture, but still enjoy the pleasures of urban life because of the proximity of the village to the town of Avila, 5 km away
