Villa Francisco – Barril, Ericeira

Villa Francisco is a beautiful villa in a quite, peaceful area, amongst the rolling hills by the Atlantic coast close to the town of Ericeira, between Peniche and Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe.
The villa has 600 m2 of a great care garden with a private swimming pool, a delightful barbecue area and a terrace.
The house itself is 200m2 and has a lovely living/dinning with a fireplace and a relaxing view towards the town and the rolling countryside. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast area, as well as 3 bedrooms, one with a private bathroom. It is equipped with wireless internet and PLAYSTATION 2.

Villa Francisco is close to Ericeira, a seaside fishing town known for its numerous seafood restaurants, cobblestreets, cafes, nightlife, beaches and world class surfing.

With summer temperatures between 22ºC and 30ºC and rarely a day of rain all sorts of outdoor activities can be enjoyed. There are various golf courses in the area.

Ericeira

Ericeira is a fishing village (50 kms -31 miles) north-east Lisbon, (25 km -16 miles) from Sintra and (10 km - 6 miles) from Mafra. It has the Atlantic Ocean as an eternal companion.
Out of this relationship, the sun has given the best if its light and an ocean of traditions have been born.
The hospitality of its people, the harmony of the “old village” with its narrow cobblestone streets, characteristic housing, singular monuments, the sea, the fishing, the cuisine, the bold Atlantic views and the multiplicity of cultural programming interface here in a grand way to welcome visitors.

• It is advisible to hire a car.
• The house is cleaned and the towels are changed every 3 days.
• The villa is not suitable for elderly or infirm (stairs to climb).
• Good golf courses in Óbidos (Golf Praia d’el Rei), 35 km away, in Sintra (Belas/Penha Longa), 20 km and Cascais/Quinta da Marinha and Estoril (18 hole), 25 km.
• Shops and restaurants available 2 mins drive in the village of Barril and Ribamar.
• Banks, you can find in Ericeira (7 Km).
• Local fruit and fish market in Ericeira .

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the In the Living Room. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

Entertainment
The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio, PLAYSTATION 2.

Eating & living
There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
