We were attending a conference in Braga at the beginning of February. Driving the distance to Caldelas to stay at this charming house was well worth it!!
We loved the comfort and warmth of the house and our hosts attended to our needs with diligence and old-world class.
This is a wonderful destination for a business trip: you sure will unplug at the end of the day! I am now looking forward to going back on a family vacation!

There is the saying "One cant say he has visited Portugal unless he has visited the North (of Portugal)", that saying has become a rule since my visit to this beautiful & totally authentically traditional house in Caldelas. The pretense of tradition and authenticity that has become the norm, I'm happy to say contrasted this holiday because of its true history and architecture as well as price all in its true place. 5 stars. A must visit again! Thank you Mr. Peixoto.

We stayed in this fabulous house with our two kids (4&5 years old) for three weeks in October 2007. The house is really gorgeous and clean. It is an old world farmhouse with modern conveniences. There is plenty of old garden, an outdoor entertainment area, wood fire barbeque and a stream which runs through the property. Que belos dias passamos lá agora em Maio. Uma casa bem equipada, com todas as comodidades e muito bonita. Esperamos em breve tornar a repetir a estadia, se possível no Verão para experimentarmos a piscina.
