Armação de Pêra was once a small fishing town where the fisherman used to catch tuna that was then brought to the Praia dos Pescadores.

The network that fishermen used to catch the tuna was called Armação and, as is very close to Pera, this town has earned the name Armação de Pêra.

Here is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, adorned with incredible inlets and with a good choice of restaurants of fish, especially in the area of Praia dos Pescadores.
