The house is surrounded by fruit trees, Sercial vines, the noble variety which produce the famous Madeira Wine, and gardens. There is also parking for five vehicles.

The house consists of four double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all with bathrooms en-suite. There is also a dining room, fully equipped kitchen and barbeque.

On the ground floor there is an old wine press which is still in excellent condition and where wine is still processed according to traditional methods.
The living room, which is very comfortable, has a thirty-six channel television which receives national and international broadcasts.
