Islas Menores beach

In early October, the beach was very quiet with a few older swimmers and the occasional family. The sea is calm but the sand is dark with lots of sharp shells at the shoreline. Due to recent thunderstorms, there was also a lot of mud on the beach that had washed through the streets. Islas Menores village has few facilities but, judging by the amount of new building works, will be over-developed within a few years. Mar de Cristal is immediately adjacent to the South and has a better beach. Los Nietos to the North has a station (to Cartagena) but should otherwise be avoided.

El Mar Menor está muy irreconocible, todo lo que se ha hecho da mucha pena, no me gusta tal y como esta ahora.

Una playa para estar con lo niños tranquilos y disfrutar de los servicios de un pequeño pueblo mas que una urbanización.
