Great Short Breaks, by: a traveller, 25/Jan/2011Being so close to Bergamo airport, I often go for a long weekend skiing. The other good point is that ski passes are 30% lower than some other resorts. Their main web site appears to be www.montecampione.com

La Pinilla(Cerezo de Arriba, Segovia)
Teriffic Little Resort, by: rmaxwell, 10/Feb/2006La Pinilla is great for a day ski from Madrid. It took 2 hours to get our passes and get up the mountain at the weekend. The runs are great with very little crowding. Highly recommended if you cannot get further afield.
