its ok , by: a traveller, 14/Sep/2009its really small but fun to go with friends that are just learning. if u are pro then dont go unless u teaching someone.
Pal - Arinsal - Vallnord(Massana (la), Andorra)
Average, by: killerig, 26/Apr/2007Been there twice. Arinsal is basically two blue runs that runs parallel, very monotonous if you have any kind of ability. Pal is alot better but went in mid/late jan this year and it was all man made snow and most of pal was closed, very dissapointing, I wont be going back

Vallter 2000(Camprodon, Girona)
Fantastic blue run, by: a traveller, 20/Feb/2006It is a very small resort, but fine for a day skiing and easy to get to from Girona and Barcelona. It also has one of prettiest blue runs I know. Friendly and good teaching staff, and ideal nursery slopes. Take your own sandwiches - as food in restaurants is very bad.
La Pinilla(Cerezo de Arriba, Segovia)
Teriffic Little Resort, by: rmaxwell, 10/Feb/2006La Pinilla is great for a day ski from Madrid. It took 2 hours to get our passes and get up the mountain at the weekend. The runs are great with very little crowding. Highly recommended if you cannot get further afield.
Sierra Nevada(Monachil, Granada)

Family skiing, by: a traveller, 10/Feb/2006Apart from from the "guardia civil" we enjoyed the resort, mostly friendly faces on the lifts and restaurants. Unless you expect too much from a resort at that altitude and location, you can not go wrong. Peter and Family.

Disappointing..., by: a traveller, 07/Nov/2005Expensive, extremelly small and monotonous. Almost all tracks are parallel, as if they were only 1 or 2. It's a pity that this is the only one in Portugal...
