Plenty of facilities and can be crowded midsummer. Water may seem calm but there is a strong undertow that can catch unwary swimmers.

Large beach but can be very crowded. Calm, clear waters but very salty.

Small beach with thin sand, which can get somewhat crowded midsummer, spoiled by graffiti on rocks (2003). Occasional problems with water quality due to careless boat owners. However... on most days, it is great to swim from. The long (600m +) inlet is never more than 50m wide and about 6m deep, with several bathing platforms, which means you can have a long sea swim in safety. The second set of buoys stops boats, etc encroaching on the swimming area. Several small hotels nearby provide facilities. ... [See more]
