The accommodation

Lovely little flat, made up of an entrance, kitchen, lounge-dining room, bedroom, bathroom. The seven windows look out over one of the most suggestive districts in Venice: the lower part of Castello, one of the areas which is still inhabited by Venetians and enlivened by a more peaceful tourism than the crowds that arrive everyday in Venice.

The flat is close to the pavilions, the venue for the Biennale Festival, and from the windows at the entrance you can admire a venetian view.

Setting

30 metres away, you will find the vaporetto Giardini stop, which offers a frequent day and night transport to San Marco in just 5 minutes. But it is also possible to reach San Marco square on foot. A 700 metres walk along the lake will allow you to enjoy the unique scenery: San Marco Bay and its small palaces.

The area around the flat is very pretty: there are parks with wonderful trees, as well as the nearby Via Garibaldi, a point of encounter for locals, with its bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets... What are you waiting for? Come along and see for yourself!

Activities and attractions

From the Giardini vaporetto stop it is also possible to go to Lido (12 minutes away) where you can enjoy its magnificent beaches.

From the same stop, and a slightly longer trip, you can visit Murano, Burano and Torcello.

Very nice

Very nice, clean and fully equipped apartment in a beautiful area and at the same time very close to St Mark's Basilica. The landlord Luigia accommodated us very late at night with no extra charge. The only downside is noise in the mornings as it's ground floor.
