Borgomorruzze

The accommodation

In flat there is:
A kitchenette, furnished with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, table linen.
A bathroom with towels; sheets and covers; TV; an outside private table with chairs (only in summer).
The final cleaning is included.
The complex has a vast park furnished with tables, barbecues and a private car parking reserved for the guests; a swimming pool, 1,40 meters high, pergola providing shade, and each flat is provided with 2 sun beds, 1 table, 4 chairs and 1 beach umbrella.

Setting

In the green and lush umbrian countryside, set as a jewel between Todi and Orvieto, there is a little medieval village called Morruzze. From the little square of the village it’s possible to enjoy the vast landscape and the beautiful view of the “Consolazione” church in Todi.

In the same little square you can see the majestic medieval Castle of Morruzze, built in 1147/1149, and its battlemented tower which has a 360o view reaching Corbara lake. The whole area is full of centuries-old trees.

The farmhouse is settled on a hillock by the village, and it has a wonderful view of Todi area and of the Perugia valley plenty of historical villages, majestic woods, centuries-old olive trees and vineyards of vintage grapes.
The whole complex has been recently restored, it is made of local stones, fired bricks and chestnut wood.
The simple and warm atmosphere gives our guests the opportunity to rest in a green paradise far away from noise and stress.

How to reach us

By car:
From the South: motorway A1, exit Orvieto, direction Terni on the road E45, exit Amelia, then you have to follow the road markings for Castel dell’Aquila, then Melezzole and then Morruzze; once you arrive at Morruzze’s square, take the “via Giannini”. You will see our farmhouse on the right-hand side.

From the North: motorway A1, exit Orvieto, direction Todi-Baschi, then sp 448, direction Todi until the fork to Acqualoreto, then direction Morre and Morruzze ( there are road markings at each fork); once you arrive at Morruzze’s square, take the “via Giannini”. You will see our farmhouse on the right-hand side.
