The accommodation

The house is divided into two independent apartments each one with a kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. It has heating in rooms as well as in common areas and Wi-Fi. The living room has a fireplace on the floor and flat screen television. The apartment for 6 people has two full bathrooms, one double room and two double rooms. The apartment for 8 people has two full bathrooms, two double rooms and a quadruple room. Each apartment has its own private terrace with a picnic area with the possibility of joining the tables in a single terrace in the case of renting the two apartments.

Setting

Mas El Carles is a restored 16th century country house with capacity for 14 people located in the east of the region of La Garrotxa, just 10 minutes away by car from Besalú, the most well-preserved historical and artistic medieval area of ​​Catalonia. Its situation at the end of the region that borders the Alt Empordà facilitates access to the Costa Brava, where in summer you can enjoy the best beaches.

Activities and attractions

The house is easily accessible and is surrounded by a garden with a small walk of about an hour to walk around the estate and other nearby surroundings. It has common leisure areas such as a large fenced pool, a badminton net, swings and a games room located in the basement of the house with a ping-pong table. In the cabin we find a barbecue of wood and another one of coal.
