The accommodation

The apartment is located in the prestigious seafront condominium – Atlantic Gardens in Gandarinha, a short walk from Casa da Guia and Estrada do Guincho, and only two kilometres from the centre of Cascais.

This upscale two bedroom apartment is on the first floor and can be accessed by stairs and via lift.

From the entrance hall, there is the spacious living room, and a modern open space kitchen with luxury fittings. In the living are there is a large sofa perfect for fall asleep in front of the television, the dining area features a beautiful wood table with comfortable and luxurious chairs for up to 6 people. The living room leads to a nice balcony with outdoor furniture overlooking the swimming pool and with sea view on the horizon. Entertainment is provided by the flat-screen TV set, sound system and wireless internet access is also included.

The Master bedroom has a large double bed with en-suit bathroom, TV, and opening to a small balcony with an outside table.

The second bedroom has got two single beds, and also features an en-suite bathroom and a balcony with outdoor furniture.

The Cascais Atlantic Gardens Apartment is just one step away from the sea front where there is the “ciclovia” – the perfect path for walking, jogging or cycling that links the Marina of Cascais in the centre to the famous Guincho Beach, and the Atlantic Gardens lays in between.

Activities and attractions

Beaches
You can sample a different beach every day even if you stayed a month! The local beaches within walking distance have quiet waters. Further afield, Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is six kilometres away. You can go there by car, walking or cycling through a promenade created for this purpose willfully, it is a very pleasant ride of 20 minutes. This is a perfect beach for water sports such as surf, kitesurf and windsurf.
Many other sandy beaches are close by, each with its own individual character. Several beaches less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.

Golf Details
Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Every course offers new and surprising landscapes, backed up by excellent services and facilities.

There are six courses within an 8 km range, with plenty to offer beginners and advanced players alike.
Getting there and around
Less than two hours flight from most European cities and seven hours from New York, the apartment can be reached by car or taxi from Lisbon Airport in 40 minutes via the A5 motorway or the more scenic road along the river to Cascais.

The apartment is so well situated and transport is so good that you can opt for a car free holiday. Cascais train station is 20 minutes walk. The picturesque train ride along the Tagus river estuary to Lisbon takes 35 minutes.
