The accommodation

GILDA'S HOUSE is a characteristic and bright apartment located just a few steps away from the sea, ideal for up to 6 guests. From the apartment, there is a magnificent view of the sea and the town of Sorrento. Gilda's House is 70 square meters, equipped with air conditioning, heating and WI-FI.

Gilda's House is located on the first floor of an antique building. It can be reached from the main entrance by climbing the stairs or by taking the elevator.

You will not need a car to stay at Gilda's House. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby at a paid public parking garage.

THE TERRACE is approximately 20 square meters. It is equipped with outdoor furniture. From the terrace, there is a breathtaking view of the sea. The terrace is accessible from the living room or from the bedroom.

THE LIVING ROOM is spacious and bright, furnished in Mediterranean style with rich blue hues. There are large windows overlooking the sea and Sorrento. In the living area, there is a double bed, two single sofa beds, a dining table for four, and a television. Here you will also find the kitchenette equipped with a stovetop with two electric rings, a fridge, an Italian-style coffee maker and other small appliances. The living room has air conditioning and heating. From the living room, it is possible to access the terrace and there is a French balcony offering an impressive sea view. Access to the living room is from the corridor.

THE FIRST BATHROOM is equipped with a sink, bidet, toilet, large walk-in shower and hairdryer. Access to the bathroom is from the living room.

THE BEDROOM WITH ENSUITE BATHROOM is equipped with a double bed, TV and air conditioning and heating. The bathroom has a sink, bidet, toilet, a large walk-in shower and a hairdryer. From the bedroom, there is access the terrace where is possible to admire the enchanting sea view. Access to the bedroom is from the corridor.


Important things to know:
- Beautiful sea view, central location just a few steps from the sea.
- Given the centrality, in the summer you will hear some external noise from the city center.
- For smaller groups Gilda's House can also be rented separately: Gilda's House 1 for 4 guests and Gilda's House 2 for 2 guests. In this case, the main entrance will be shared.
- Tourist tax 3,00 Euro per day per person for the first 7 nights from April to October 31. The children under 18 years do not pay.
- For arrivals after 8:00 PM will be applied an extra cost of 50.00 euro to be paid at the arrival.

Setting

Gilda's House is located on the first floor of a beautiful nineteenth century building in red brick, 30 meters from the seaside. The building has recently been renovated and has an elevator.

Activities and attractions

Gilda's House is within walking distance of some of the more interesting and antique buildings of Sorrento, such as the main cathedral, the town Municipal and the Cloister of S. Francesco.

Located in central Sorrento, there are a wide variety of restaurants and shops, and the main marina is nearby. Not far from the apartment is the bus stop to Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento. Just 700 meters away, is the main train and bus station with desired destinations such as Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Pompeii. The nearest beach is 50 meters away.
