The accommodation
The House has a wine cellar with a fireplace where you can carry on the evening.The XIV century village of 200 inhabitants is small,and has an epic church and castle. It is located on the Sierra de Pela, with wonderful views
of the swamp of Orellana and all the region of La Serena.
You can practice all water sports as well as hiking through the mountains to enjoy the smell of the field and views. It is well placed to visit Guadalupe, Merida and Trujillo, plus the surrounding villages such as La Puebla de Alcocer, Campanario, Castura and other nearby locations.

Excelent vacation
The house is very good: clean, comfortable. There is place to park a car near the house. Next door there is small shop (is open every day from 8 a.m until 2 p.m.) where you can buy food and other things if you don't like to drive to different place. In Orellana la Vieja there is small supermarket (Día), but in Villanueva de la Serena there are several supermarkets (Mercadona, Carefour, Casa de la Carne). Toñi is excelent woman. And other people of Orellana de la Sierra are excelent people. The lake and the beach are good, the beach is sometimes a little crowded. If you wish you can travel to other places of Extremadura, we have traveled to Cáceres, Badajoz, Trujillo, Guadalupe, Zafra, Plasencia. Thank you very much.
