The accommodation

The property is located on a 3rd floor (without elevator) of a wonderful historic building and consists of a dining/sitting room with double sofa bed and Lcd Tv, fully equipped kitchen corner, double bedroom and bathroom with bath/shower.
There is a washing machine and is completely equipped.
The property includes two large balconies at apt level and a fantastic terrace at the upper level which is accessed by an internal spiral stairway.

Setting

Trastevere is one of the most beautiful and evocative neighborhoods of the city with its narrow streets, ancient buildings, churches, artisan shops and numerous bars and restaurants where you can taste the typical Roman cuisine immersed in the romantic atmosphere of Rome. Do not miss a visit to the ancient Basilica of Santa Cecilia with its beautiful underground, the beautiful place of Santa Maria in Trastevere and its Basilica. Near Piazza Belli crossed the Cestius Bridge, the unique and particular Tiber island.

Activities and attractions

From the apartment you can reach walking (or by few tram/bus stops) the most fascinating places of the city such as Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the unforgettable Piazza di Spagna up to Piazza Venezia from where, climbing its two staircases dated 1500s, you can reach the Basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli and the Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo that offers a splendid view of the Forum. From Piazza Venezia, along the Fori Imperiali and the Mercati di Traiano, you can reach the Colosseum and the nearby archaeological area of the Palatine Hill and the splendid churches of the Celio. In front of the Colosseum, there is the Metro Line B Colosseo station. Beside the Piramide station you can take the Ostia Lido train to reach in about 30 minutes the wonderful archaeological site of Ostia Antica, the ancient port of Rome.
