Holiday Home El Colmenero is located in an isolated and very quiet area known as Catela, in Villa de Garafía, surrounded by orchards and pine forests, with easy access due to its proximity to the Pista de Catela. It is an astro-tourism themed house, located at an altitude of just over 1000 metres, in an ideal setting for stargazing, less than 20 kilometres from the Roque de Los Muchachos Astrophysical Observatory.

The environment where the house sits is especially beautiful in winter, when the abundant almond trees that surround it are in bloom. Its privileged location away from urban centres provides a unique view of the starry skies, not in vain were the peaks of Villa de Garafía chosen to install the Astrophysical Observatory of Roque de Los Muchachos. And if what you like is walking in the countryside, you have several possibilities, as there are numerous short trails and a wide variety of landscapes in this area.
