It has all the traditional characteristics of a so called “tabarkina house” (name recalling the place from which the Italian genovese population, now living in St Peter, was driven out during the eighteen century): a building, we can presume, dating back to the century mentioned before.
The building has been completely restored at the end of 2004, in the attempt of keeping all the hystorical and architectural characteristics of the place. It has woodden beam floors.
All the new systems (air conditioning included) follow the appointed safety rules.
With separate entrance and three floors above ground, completely autonomous (stable ground-sky), in a corner position on an open space, very bright. Built in 800, has been renovated in its entirety, trying to preserve all its architectural and historical features. The ceilings are made of wooden beams. It has new installations. The two bedrooms are on independent floors, each with access to the living room, to avoid mutual disturbances. Minimum booking for 6 nights.
Ground floor: Small entrance with staircase and, on the right, double bedroom, floor with old local tiles refurbished, bathroom with shower, large wall closets. Air conditioning.
Second floor: kitchen and living room with double sofa bed. Two large French windows, each with wrought iron balcony. From one of them you can see a glimpse of the sea. In the living room, extensible table, armchair with footrest, TV connected to the digital terrestrial, ceiling fan with
ceiling fan with variable speed and lights, small hi-fi, glass cabinet.
Second floor: Small bedroom with two superimposed beds, which can be arranged as single beds. Air conditioning and heating. Bathroom with shower, washbasin and bidet. Small terrace covered by a towel on the second floor, with table and 4 chairs. Washing machine and water heater are housed in external hatches on the terrace, on which you can also hang sheets.
Ample parking space close to the city walls (3 minutes on foot from the house). It is also possible to park close the the house (parking here is limited).
